Imagine you're just waiting for your train in London. Let's say at the St Pancras International train station and you start to hear a piano being played. It gets better because the person playing the piano is really good at it. Then you hear singing. Not just any singing, you hear what sounds like Alicia Keys singing "Empire State of Mind".

That's kind of what happened on Monday. Well, the part about Alicia Keys performing anyway. Alicia sat down at the piano, named Elton John, who donated it to the train station, and played "Empire State of Mind", "No One", "If I Ain't Got You" and her new single from the movie "The Color Purple" called "Lifeline".

As it turns out, this is a pretty common thing to happen in this train station. John Legend has played there, Jeff Goldblum has as well. Last week Rod Stewart sat down at that piano and played for the travelers.

Why doesn't anything like this ever happen at the Rensselaer or Schenectady train stations? Can we get someone to donate a piano to one of those buildings so we can get some cool stuff like this to happen in The Capital Region?
