I'm not sure if you watched any of SNL50 last night but I think it's safe to say that Lil Wayne's performance with The Roots stole the show.
While most of the sketches were less than what we expected (or exactly what you expected), Weezy was the complete opposite of that. He came out and performed some of his biggest hits spanning his entire career! He did "Uproar", "Lollipop", "6 Foot 7 Foot", "Mrs. Officer" and "A Milli".
The performance has the internet 2nd guessing the choice of Kendrick Lamar as the Super Bowl Halftime performer just a week earlier. There are a select few saying that Weezy's performance is what we should've gotten last Sunday. Of course, it's easy to play Monday Morning Quarterback at this point.
Either way, Lil Wayne put on a great show for SNL50, sounded great and showed us all that he has HITS! Not that any of us were questioning that last point. If you missed it or just want to relive the performance, here you go!
