AVillage Announces Final Three Night Markets of the Season
Albany, NY – July 19, 2024 – AVillage is thrilled to announce the final three Night Markets of the season, a series of vibrant community events focusing on health equity, social justice, advocacy, education, environment, and economic development. These events provide an invaluable platform for local vendors, community organizations, and residents to connect, share resources, and celebrate community togetherness.
Event Details:
1. August 9, 2024 – Arbor Hill Sports Complex
• Theme: Black Economic Development
• Time: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Rain Date: August 16, 2024
2. September 13, 2024 – Black Lives Matter Park
• Theme: Back to School Safely
• Time: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Rain Date: September 20, 2024
3. October 25, 2024 – Lincoln Park Bowl
• Theme: Fall Fest
• Time: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Rain Date: October 26, 2024
Each Night Market will feature an array of local vendors offering diverse products and services, delicious free food, lively music, and engaging activities for all ages. Attendees will have the opportunity to access valuable information and resources provided by community organizations and local businesses.
Peyton Harrison, Night Market Manager, expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming events, stating, “The Night Markets are more than just events; they are a celebration of our community’s strength and resilience. By bringing together resources and creating access to information, we are addressing systemic issues and supporting grassroots efforts to uplift and empower our community.”
Setup for vendors will take place from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM, with the event officially starting at 5:00 PM. Vendors are encouraged to bring information about their resources and giveaways to engage with the community effectively.
