11:45am UPDATE: Sounds like things are starting to come back online at the airport. Hopefully they'll have everything operational as soon as possible. Albany International Airport posted this on the "X" at 11:15am.

If you haven't heard yet, there is a Worldwide Microsoft and CrowdStrike outage that is impacting airports, hospitals, airlines, banks and more.
According to CrowdStrike, the company that handles "security" for Microsoft did say -
"This is not a security incident or cyberattack,"
Now, while the problem has been identified and a fix has been deployed, it's going to take some time to get everything back on course.
One of the airports that was impacted by this outage is Albany International Airport. So if you are flying into or out of Albany today, you might want to check the status of your flight. You should also be prepared for the possibility that you could be at the airport longer than expected.
Airlines that are operate out of ALB are reporting to us that their computers have been impacted by a worldwide issue. We’re working to learn more and will update when able.

While officials at Albany International are currently working to resolve the issue, this could take quite some time. Plus they have to be sure that their counterparts in other airports are back up and operating before they can move forward and get passengers to their destinations.
